It’s hard to describe what this feels like.
Recently, I learned that two of Casey’s high school teammates have picked up copies of Getting the Church Inside You and are actually reading it. These are young men who are still figuring out life, faith, and identity, and they are leaning in.
That reality is humbling, and it is a little overwhelming in the best kind of way. As a pastor and a dad, moments like this serve as a quiet reminder that God is always working beyond what we can see. He plants seeds in places we never expected.
Today, I am praying for these young men. I am praying that what they read will not remain on the page, but will take root in their hearts, shape their decisions, and bless their families for years to come.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20
God is able to do more than we can imagine through a simple book, through an ongoing gospel conversation, and even through a high school locker room. If you are reading this today, take this as encouragement to keep sowing, keep praying, and keep trusting.
You never know who is watching. You never know who is reading. You never know how God might use it.
Prayer
Lord, do more than we can imagine. Let Your Word take root in hearts, shape lives, and draw people closer to You. Use every small act of faithfulness for Your greater purpose. Amen.
