The Eyes of Our Heart

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you.”
(Ephesians 1:17-18)

Faith is not just believing with our minds; it is seeing with our hearts. God wants to open our eyes to His wisdom, His hope, and His calling. The more we know Him, the more clearly we see His hand at work in our world and in our stories.

When our hearts are open, even ordinary moments become invitations to grace.

Prayer:
Father, give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so we may know You better. Open the eyes of our hearts to see the hope into which You have called us. Help us walk with clarity, gratitude, and joy in Christ. Amen.

One question:
How is God helping you see with the eyes of your heart this week?

Thank you again for walking with me on this journey. If you’d like to share how God is opening your eyes to His grace, I’d love to hear from you at pastor@drstevenparker.com.
